  5. years of a 25-year-minimum prison sentence for the murder in
  6. 1985 of his wife Emily; by Florida Governor Bob Martinez; in
  7. Tallahassee. Gilbert, whose wife suffered from Alzheimer's
  8. disease and osteoporosis, claimed that she had begged him to
  9. end her misery. The case attracted national attention and was
  10. dramatized in a 1987 NBC TV movie.
